The Circle Chit Chat at DC Thomson

DC Thomson are hosting The Circle Chit Chat on Thursday 30th May!

The Circle Chit Chat is a free and informal networking opportunity for anyone involved with a charity, social enterprise or community group. Hosted by a different organisation each time, it runs on a quarterly basis and includes short presentations on subjects of interest to those present including funding, social media skills, service design, team building and much more. There is always time to network with others and opportunities for cooperative working.

David Cook, Project Director at West Ward Works – David Cook runs Cook Creative, a consultancy which supports creative, social and commercial companies with business change and cultural property development, specialising in developing creative work spaces.

Jenny Paterson, CEO of Breakthrough Dundee – Jenny joined young persons’ charity Breakthrough as CEO in March 2018 having previously been the director of the National Autistic Society Scotland. Originally from Co. Antrim in Northern Ireland, Jenny moved to Scotland 25 years ago to study sociology and social policy at Stirling University. She has worked in the third sector for over 20 years and has held senior leadership roles in some of the largest social care charities in Scotland.

Anna Fowlie, CEO of SCVO – Anna became the chief executive of SCVO in 2018. SCVO is the national membership body for the voluntary sector. They have over 2,000 members, and also have a remit to represent and support the sector as a whole (over 40,000 organisations

Jane Richardson, Trustee of Changing the Chemistry – Changing the Chemistry is a charity dedicated to improving board effectiveness through greater diversity of thought in the boardroom. A former Trustee with Changing the Chemistry, Jane is now an ambassador for the organisation in the Dundee area. She has served on the boards of Dundee Rep Theatre and Dundee & Angus College.
